WHAT IS PID? - PARTY IN THE DESERT

PID is Protect and Defends most secured private event for its membership.

The purpose of the event is to allow the below listed professions to bond as a family in a social environment.  This event unites brothers and sisters from throughout the world! 

Invites are strict, ID's are verified by peace officers (no copies are made, no cameras or media allowed) and the venue allows its attendees to reflect on the past year as a group. 

Waivers enforcing confidentiality are signed at registration. Security is enforced, Social passes are worn by all attendees the entire weekend, this allows the attendees to socialize more frequently. 

If you are not one of the listed below professions but know someone who is, pass on the word about PID and come out as a guest, we need your help to promote our efforts!

Who can attend?

FEMALE FAMILY MEMBERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND!

Any peace officer, police officer, deputy sheriff, parole, corrections or probation officer, Firefighters, paramedics, EMT, Search and Rescue Pilots, DEA, FBI, ATF, Department of Justice, Governmental Employees, fish and game wardens, Park Rangers, Highway Patrol, Code Enforcement, school, military, tribal or postal police, Judicial Employees, judges, police commissioners. INS, Homeland Security, Customs, State police, marshals and troopers. Academy recruits currently enrolled in any public safety academies may also qualify. Sponsors and Corporation Donors.


(ANY RANK, Retired, Current, Reserve or Part Time  - ANY STATE OR COUNTRY (Federal, State, County, City)


MILITARY- Army, Air force, Navy, Marine Corps, National Guard, Army National Guard, Air guard, US Coast Guard, Civil Air Patrol and Department of Defense.


EACH ATTENDEE IS ALLOWED TO BRING A MAXIMUM OF TWO GUESTS TO THE EVENT, partners, significant others, friends as long as they are discreet and respect our confidentiality.  We welcome family into our family and encourage attendance of couples and women!

What is Party In The Desert ?

PID or Party In the Desert,is a annual event that is hosted by Protect And Defend.  In 2005, the staff of Protect and defend, who formerly were affiliated with the GSPOA and Pigs In Paradise summer event.   We wanted to include members of our armed forces and not exclude them.  There was business and legal support and Protect and Defend became its own entity.  PID is the ongoing tradition of the summer venue but with enhanced security, military involvement and marketed to associations worldwide.  
 
The weekend includes social games, catered BBQ, shuttle service to local bars and clubs, discounted group events at restaurant and group dinners.  Pool games, all host bar with great looking, professional staff and much more!

How is Party In the Desert planned?

We have an elite staff of military, cops and event planners that have been hosting this venue for the last SIX years. This venue is supported by sponsors such as Smirnoff, Bud Light, WET and many more, we are looking for sponsors, so e mail us here if your interested.
 
 
PID is hosted and offered by Protect and Defend, we welcome our brothers an sisters throughout the world to our venue and you'll be treated like royalty.

 

We have mentor programs for people attending for the first time and we encourage you to bring friends using PID as your vacation meet point for friends on the west coast.

 

We are always looking for staff, if you have great social skills, work well under pressure and want in on the behind the scene action, JOIN US. Excellent Benefit package.

How much does it cost?

Our staff negotiates prices down to the lowest possible number. You have to get your flight to California, when your here we will get your transportation set up. SOCIAL PASS is $55.00, this includes catered BBQ, all host bar, discounted rates everywhere you go with the party. No covers for clubs or bars, your social pass gives you everything including a welcome bag with all the weekend amenities and souvenirs.

How do I get on the mailing list?

Simply e mail events@protectanddefend.org , the event coordinator will contact you and you'll be placed on the list to receive updates on PID. Protect and Defend members receive this information on a regular basis so you do not have to join our e mail list. The hotel reservations block will be released in December 07, allowing PID attendees to make reservations, MAKE THESE SOON. Our primary hotel will sell out, secondary hotel will also be set up.
