Return and Refund Policy

Return/Refund Policy:

Protect and Defend only refunds by use of a check back to the member regardless of how payment was received (Check, Credit Card, Cash, etc.)



Upon registering for membership with Protect and Defend, each member is enrolled in auto-renewal.  Each year on the renewal date, the member’s credit card will automatically be charged for another year of membership.  Five (5) days prior to the renewal date, the member will be sent notice that five days from the date of the e-mail they will be automatically renewed membership.  Further, the day of renewal the member will be notified that their membership is about to expire and that if their credit card information on file is correct no further action on their part is required.  If the member does not cancel the transaction or request the transaction be cancelled (as outlined below) the member’s membership fee will be charged for another year.  Membership fees are non-refundable unless the applicant is deemed to not meet the standards of membership.  Loss of membership due to disciplinary action does not constitute a refund of dues paid, part or in whole.  Members may not have any or all dues refunded if they resign their membership during the period of dues paid. Dues will be refunded if the member submits an e-mail to the Secretary dated prior to the renewal date to not have their membership renewed or uses the “contact us” on the PAD website prior to the renewal date but the request is not processed prior to the credit card being charged.



Event Fees:


Event fees can be refunded until the official start date of the event by e-mailing the Secretary or the listed event coordinator on the event page.  Event fees will be returned minus $5.00 processing fee.  The event fees become non-refundable on the official start date of the event.  If the member wishes to claim hardship, the President or his/her designee may authorize the event fee minus the processing fee returned.  In either case, the processing fee is non-refundable


All merchandise is non-refundable unless the product/item is received damaged or is out of stock.  If the item is received damaged, a replacement will be sent free of charge to the member.  The member will need to return the damaged product/item back to Protect and Defend within 15 days or the member will be charged for both items unless authorized by e-mail to not return the item to Protect and Defend.  If the item is out of stock, the member will be refunded the full amount charged.
